The program of the annual festival “Art-field” has been announced. In a week’s period the festival will represent such groups as: Wa-Da-Da (Poland), Zira (Ukraine), Gurzuf (Belarus), Port Mone (Belarus), Atlantida (Russia), Sedaa (Mongolia), Village Kollektiv (Poland), Daha Braha (Ukraine), Malanka Orchestra (Belarus), OqueStrada (Portugal), Fatima Spar (Austria), Gattamolesta (Italy), Perkalaba (Ukraine)
Besides music, the festival will represent “ The old movie in a new way”, media performance “The Portraits”, audio-visual performance “Multiperson B”, interactive site-specific performance “Gagary”, shadows theatre “SM” and so on.
Studios of contact improvisation, vocal, actor art, creation of fancy furniture, clothes, decorations, etc. will function on the territory of the festival. There also will be a cinema club, the fair of hand-made goods and mud cure procedures, introduction to tea ceremonies of different peoples of the world, bus and pedestrian excursions.
The present “Art-Field” format provides experiment and synthesis – unique combination of traditional instruments, ideas, ways of realization, textures, materials, live instruments and authentic vocal with electronics, creation of instruments which will sound with the help of wind and waves. It is also panned to set recreation pavilions – architecture of colored umbrellas, braiding of linen ropes and tapes, salt shore walk.
“We are going to create our own sound space where ancient and modern will be united. One will have to listen not only by ears, but also by his heart and look not just by two eyes, but also using the third one. Free space art assumes understanding, cooperation and acting, coordinated with environment” – the organizers say. The festival was planned to be a great game, where each person becomes a player. “The stage will be transformed every day. The elements of its interior and video, projected on the screen will depend on you to a certain extent. We give you a chance to try yourself as an actor, an artist, a producer, an author. But, at the same time, you can still remain an observer.
“The Art-field” festival (the former “Sheshory”) has moved to Odessa region, Kuyalnik coastal lake shore.
