On December 16-26 Grand Antique Salon will take place for the third time in Art and Museum complex “Mystetskiy Arsenal”. This is the largest project in Ukraine, introducing masterpieces of world art, unique private and gallery collections.
This year within the special program “Museum-Guest” the Salon represents two unique exhibition projects: “Masterpieces of Sacral Art of Ukraine” and “Kiev School of Paining” from collections of the leading museums of Chernigov, Lvov and Museum of History of Kiev.
The silver icon case of Wonder-working Icon of Illyinskaya Mother of God, which was made on means of Hetman Ivan Mazepa in Trinity Monastery of Chernigov, is decoration of the exhibition. It underwent some damage during 300 years of its existence, and this year the frame of the icon got its second life.
Selection of works of painting from the Museum of History of Kiev will also be represented within the framework of the Salon - canvases of the outstanding Ukrainian painters Sergey Shyshko and Aleksandr Khvostenko-Khvostov. The exposition will demonstrate well-known and almost forgotten Kiev of the middle and the second part of the 20th century.
“Sacral Art of Ukraine” will represent outstanding exhibits, which were situated in museum storehouses of Chernigov Regional Historical Museum named after Tarnovskiy, National Art Gallery in Lvov, Lvov Museum of History of Religion, National Reserve “Sophia Kievskaya” and museum “Spiritual Treasures of Ukraine”.
Besides, Grand Antique Salon will represent rich palette of private and gallery collections. About 25 Ukrainian galleries will participate in the project.
Ceremonial opening of Grand Antique Salon will take place on December 15. Famous figures of culture and art, collectors, gallery owners, art-dealers and other famous personalities from Ukraine and abroad will become honored guests of the event.

The Provisions on Administration of Weiboke Development (the Provisions) include core provisions in Article 6, which requires pre approvals by the Beijing city authority before launching a Weibo account, and Article 9, which requires that a user provide his or her true identity.
