Sanahunt Gallery has been opened in Kiev
On November 10, 2010 Sanahunt Luxury Concept Store represented Sanahunt Gallery – unique service of art consulting and exhibition area.
Sanahunt became the first “luxury”-class store in the world, which will offer its clients full range of services in spheres of modern art and creating of private and corporate collections. Own Gallery program – prêt-a-porter from Sanahunt Gallery will be supplemented with services of art-concierge, intended for clients, preferring haute couture in all its displays.
Program of the Gallery will include personal and group exhibitions of “hard artillery” of modern art, expositions of young artists, interesting in regard of art investments and Sanahunt`s own art initiatives – works and projects, carried out specially for Sanahunt Gallery.
Sanahunt Gallery will also provide with full consultation service: leading works of art from the moment of purchase till their installation, ordering of private portraits, consultation on existing collections, their improvement and practice of collecting, services in art-investments sphere, escorting to the main Fairs of Modern Art – Art Basel and Art Basel Miami Beach, Frieze Art Fair and FIAC, individual visits to artists` studios and corporative art-consulting. World-known art critic Neville Wakefield will be guest curator and consultant of Sanahunt Gallery. His record of service includes such projects as: special programs of London Frieze Art Fair and New York Museum MoMA PS1, scandal cinema project “Restricted”, advertizing campaign Pringle of Scotland with actress Tilda Swinton, sensational editorial projects with painters Richard Prince, Mathew Barney and John Baldessary for American magazine “W”.
A book-store, representing editions, issued in limited number and single art-books, has also been opened on the territory of Sanahunt. Among editions, which cooperate with Sanahunt, there are such famous publishing houses as Steidl, Thames and Hudson, Aperture, Guggenheim Museum, MoMA, Skira, Twin Palms and Taschen. Cult periodicals have appeared here – magazines Vizionaire, Fantastic Man, The Gentlewomen and Purple Fashion.
On November 5, 2010 Sanahunt Gallery was opened with Damian Hirst`s exhibition. He is one of the most prominent artists of modern times, whose works are included into most serious museum and private collections all over the world. It will be possible to buy graphics and unique works of the British artist at the exhibition, which will last till December 4, 2010.
Among the guest, who visited vernisage of Sanahunt Gallery, organized by the President of Sanahunt Oksana Moroz-Hunt there were such personalities as British singer Roisin Murphy (ex-Moloko), French writer Frederic Begbeder, the author of “99 Francs”, chief editor and founder of the magazine “Fantastic men” Gert Johnkers, chief editor of the magazine “The Gentlewomen” Penny Martin, designers Nikolas Kirkwood and Vika Gazinskaya and crème de la crème of Ukrainian and Russian art, fashion, business and political elite.

16.03.2012 “Weibocalypse”: China’s new microblogging rules go into force
On March 16, new real identity rules imposed on China’s microblogging platform Weibo go into effect; dubbed “Weibocalypse” by China’s internet community . The Provisions on Administration of Weiboke Development (the Provisions) include core provisions in Article 6, which requires pre approvals by the Beijing city authority before launching a Weibo account, and Article 9, which requires that a user provide his or her true identity. Chen Jihong, a Beijing-based partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm said that “overall, the Provisions regulate not only issues of approval and true identity, but also general issues including compliance with the law and privacy protection”.

Kyiv, December 28, 2011. A famous Ukrainian folk singer Oleg Skrypka performed a renewed version of the winter holiday classic Carol of the Bells originally composed by Ukrainian Mykola Leontovych. This new rendition of the world renowned tune became a soundtrack for the freshly released Ukrainian animation film Shchedryk.

A Polish artist Jaroslaw Koziara created two giant images of fish on the grass on each side of the Polish-Ukrainian border. The tail of the first image lies on the territory of Poland with its head on the Ukrainian territory. The second fish is positioned facing the opposite direction. The artist intends to send the message of unity of the two countries – nature and art know no borders.
