From August 28 work of American research group “Ghost Hunters International” starts in Podgoretskiy Сastle in Lvov region. Members of the team will research paranormal phenomena on the territory of the Castle Complex, which were registered now, though have been known from translations from old times.
With assistance of the General Director of Lvov Art Gallery Boris Voznitskiy, researcher of local history Igor Zhuk invited American “Host Hunters” to explore the paranormal occurrences in Podgoretskiy Castle. It will be Igor Zhuk`s fifth research for the last two years, from the time of accidental fixation of strange objects by photo equipment on the territory of the Castle.
The incident that happened on the fourth of May became incitement for deeper research of paranormal phenomena in Podgoretskiy Castle. On that day Boris Voznitskiy and Igor Zhuk with their assistants left for Podgortsy to determine first-priority stages of work on restoration of the memorial of garden-park art of national importance – Podgoretskiy Castle. Photographing was carried out from above the ground, from deliberately lifted up balloon. Transparent silhouette of a person of unknown origin was captured on photos of the part of the territory near the entrance to an underground cave. Special photographing with other equipment was carried out to eliminate accidental photograhpy deffects or light glares from the Sun, lens, other objects. Light smoky clustering was registerd and also a light effect reminding indistinct text lines on new photos.
During 2008- 2010 four special groups of people, who deal with ordinary researshes of phisical occurences with special equipment as well as paranormal phenomena, were invited. One of the investigation in the Castle was held by the team of the popular Ukrainian TV-program “Fight of extrasensory individuals”. Twelve extrasensory individuals tried to reproduce old events and explain strange phenomenon of Podgoretskiy Castle. Two of them – the finalists of the fourth “Fight of People” Elena Kurilova and Renata Ciri will participate in the current American research and the program “Ghost Hunters”.
“The Host Hunters International “ team explores paranormal occurences with electronic equipment, which is capable of cathcing these phenomena in their opinion. From the time the program was founded, researches have fixed unusual occurences many times. However, most of them can be explained by natural factors. Though there have been truly phenomenal cases, which cannot be eaplained by scintific reasons.
Special equipment will be used during the research: sound-recording devices, electromagnetic fields, radioctivity, thermographic cameras, night vision cameras, portable and static cameras and other devices. Most of the equipment is made on a special order: in particular, geophone that registers and describes vibrations, EF measuring device, creating audio effect when there are changes in electromagnetic field; “white noise” generator and so on.
“The Host Hunters International” team is positioned as a documentary program with scientific approach.
