The most famous messenger of Balkan culture in the world Goran Bregovic, accompanied by “Wedding and Funeral Band”, will give concerts in Kiev and Odessa in spring 2011.
Stirring beats, male choir, inexpressible energy, fiery mix of Gypsy and traditional Balkan music, best works, created during the last 20 years – the famous musician and composer will bring all these to Ukraine.
Goran Bregovic is well known in countries of Eastern Europe due to the rock group “Bijelo Dugme” and worldwide as the author of music to films, among which there are several works of Emir Kusturitsa.
The concerts will be held at Odessa Sport Palace on April 19 and at the National “Ukraine” Palace in Kiev.

On March 16, new real identity rules imposed on China’s microblogging platform Weibo go into effect; dubbed “Weibocalypse” by China’s internet community . The Provisions on Administration of Weiboke Development (the Provisions) include core provisions in Article 6, which requires pre approvals by the Beijing city authority before launching a Weibo account, and Article 9, which requires that a user provide his or her true identity.
