LEONID KOZLOV is a famous Ukrainian painter, sculptor and graphic artist. He is a citizen of Kyiv, he graduated from the Art Academy, he is the member of the Ukrainian National Artists Union.  He is the participator of numeral Ukrainian and international exhibition projects, especially in Great Britain (London), France (Paris, Bordeaux, Versailles), USA (Des Moines, Chicago). In 1997 in the exhibition in Paris  L. Kozlov”s sculpture  - “Ballerina is sitting”  was awarded with the silver medal. The work of the sculptor is the decoration of the prestigious galleries and museums of arts in different countries of the world. One of his works, the artist presented to the Ukrainian National Museum during the previous exhibition in 2008.


Leonid Kozlov is the master of those who puts their hearts and souls in to their own creations. The painter works in multilaterals manners, his creative work is heard to characterize any determined methods.  The author created the series of the graphic works. Now he works in the genre of art.
All that he does are fundamental and substantial. He works thoughtful at every of his creation and leads it to the absolute – is a criteria of perfection of the harmony balance between the artist’s idea and  its expressiveness.

Leonid Kozlov is a bright creative personality. All his creative work pierced by the realization under the unrealization. The main concept of this creative work is principle of the movement.
The first picture he wrote on the sheet because he had not linen.  in the studio he found paints which are left after the previous painter. The work is named as “Marigolds” (2000). Then the idea to paint the series of pictures by neat paints like appliqués works without mixing them. 
For Leonid Kozlov painting is like a graphic work but in colour. With the help of paints he shows the essence, the inner status. The Painter tries to awake a fantasy into the spectators by his own painting also he compelled to think and find a secret into the painter.

16.03.2012  “Weibocalypse”: China’s new microblogging rules go into force

On March 16, new real identity rules imposed on China’s microblogging platform Weibo go into effect; dubbed “Weibocalypse” by China’s internet community . The Provisions on Administration of Weiboke Development (the Provisions) include core provisions in Article 6, which requires pre approvals by the Beijing city authority before launching a Weibo account, and Article 9, which requires that a user provide his or her true identity. Chen Jihong, a Beijing-based partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm said that “overall, the Provisions regulate not only issues of approval and true identity, but also general issues including compliance with the law and privacy protection”.

Kyiv, December 28, 2011. A famous Ukrainian folk singer Oleg Skrypka performed a renewed version of the winter holiday classic Carol of the Bells originally composed by Ukrainian Mykola Leontovych. This new rendition of the world renowned tune became a soundtrack for the freshly released Ukrainian animation film Shchedryk.

A painting by a Ukrainian artist set a new record at the Phillips de Pury & Co auction that took place in London on October 13, 2011. The art piece “Horse.Night” by Anatoliy Kryvolap was sold for USD 124,4 thousand which is the highest a painting by a contemporary Ukrainian artist ever grossed at an art auction.

A Polish artist Jaroslaw Koziara created two giant images of fish on the grass on each side of the Polish-Ukrainian border. The tail of the first image lies on the territory of Poland with its head on the Ukrainian territory. The second fish is positioned facing the opposite direction. The artist intends to send the message of unity of the two countries – nature and art know no borders.
