The second tour of “Mazepa-fest” will take place on Singers` field in Poltava. The festival`s organizer Nikolay Kulchinskiy informed about it at a press-conference in Kiev. “All financial problems with Poltava Authorities and musicians have been solved”, he said.
Before that Poltava Administration has tried to prevent the organizers from holding the festival.
Powerful rock show for those who take Ivan Mazepa` name as symbol of Ukrainian identity and unity will be held on Poltava stage for the 8th time. Among the singers there will be young performers and already well-known sisters Telnyuk and Gorgishellys, singer “Rosava,” groups “Voskresenye” and “Motorola”.
The organizational Committee has the rule not to invite the same artists twice. “It is our position and rule. But sometimes the Organizational Committee revises its position. So this time it will alter with sisters Telnyuk”, Sergey Arhipchuk said .
The groups “Who goes down”, “Gaydamaki”, “Viy” have performed on the festival twice. And this times the tradition has to be revised not only with Telnyuk, but also with Gorgishelly sisters.
For the last time the Lvov-Georgean girls performed on “Mazepa Fest” when they were very young.
“Ne Dilya” group will represent their new album in Poltava. A brand new album will be represented by the capital group “Revenko Band” The musicians have finished “The heart of beauty” instrumental album this year. New groups represent such geographical areas: Lutsk, Vinnitsa, Zaporozhye, Sumy, Kharkov. There will be five new groups from Poltava: “MAO Project”, “Great Crunch”, “Kids Room 402”, “Recosta” and “Mania”.
Socially actual, with political implication and surely tender-lyrical texts of singers` songs will fire up the only festival of “impertinent Masepa fans” in Ukraine.
