Unique works of Japanese plastics art will be showing during the period of 15 April - 16 May on the "Okimono: 100 years from triumph in Europe" exhibition

The Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (southern Ukraine) has approved a set of measures on preparation and holding of a holiday season.

On the 9th of April there was a presentation of a renewed Kiev symbol, which decorated Sofia Kievskaya broach in the past. It is a sculpture of st. Michael.

Ministry of culture together with the antiquarian guild presented a catalogue of stolen culture valuables of Ukraine. This catalogue is the first one during last 10 years.

The Ethno-Jazz Festival  Flugery L’vova which is considered to be  one of the most awaited, exquisite and non-conventional events of our city this year will be conducted for the eighth time from 1 to 4 May. And only the last day is going to make changes -  the  concert on the occasion of the   Dzyga Jazz Quartet 10th anniversary will be  held in the  L’viv Philharmonic.

The draft national budget for 2010 foresees partial state funding for the reconstruction of the central districts of the country's towns, Ukrainian Housing and Utilities Minister Oleksandr Popov said after a teleconference in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Performance of the Theater of shades ‘Dyv’ with the program ‘INTRO’ will take place in the visual hall of The Center of culture and leisure ‘Dog-fox Mykyta’ on April, 9 at 17:00.

 From the 8th to the 11th of April,there will be the 5th Kyiv Spring Book Fair, which will consist of international assembly of fantasy portal, international festival of Christian books, and the first special international exhibition of sports books.

In the middle of April there will be an exhibition of tulips in Nikita botanical gardens. It is the first time of such an exhibition.

Today (the 1st of April) is the opening day of photo exhibition "Crimea Panoramas". Event will be held in "Territory of creativity" gallery in Simferopol.
