This Museum dedicated to the most favorite art of our childhood. And childhood of all girls and boys of the world. Circus! In Kiev, rich in different museums, there is such one. It exists from 2007 and situated in one of the most beautiful Kiev parks. We enter the pavilion and fall into atmosphere of backstage, in that secret, which we dreamed to discover from our childhood. 

Do you remember we always wanted to peep behind the curtain? We wanted to understand secrets of illusionist, to see if cloun such funny on the backstage. All kinds of circus art are presented here. The collection counts above 2000 exhibits, and refilling constantly.

The first circensian posters, pictures with signs, circensian suits, articles from magazines, placards, awards and the main thing – circensian property. Hats from which rabbits were got out 100 years ago, cloun’s trousers, which amused childhood of our grandmothers and grandfathers…

Here you can see functional miracle locomotive of 1926 year, on which animals of legendary circus performer Michail Zollo travelled along circus pavilion. Here is circesian “Oskar” – “Golden Cloun” – the dream of all circesian artists. This award is unique in Ukraine. It was imported by Anatoliy Zalevskiy in 1999 from International Circus Festival in Monte-Carlo. In general all that you wanted to know about circus and didn’t know where you can do it. Now you have such possibility – in Kiev Circus Museum!
