Sanatorium accepts 332 patients all the year round and up to 366 during summer. Sanatorium profile: diseases of nervous and musculoskeletal system, male and female genitals; rehabilitation of pregnant women with extragenital pathology; rehabilitation of adolescents who suffered from the Chernobyl accident effects, rehabilitation of reproductive health of adolescents with gynecological and andrological diseases.
Indications for treatment:
1. Nervous system diseases:
- consequences of acute blood supply disturbance of brain (in 3-4 months after stroke if patient is able to serve himself);
- consequences of internal brain injury;
- consequences of spine trauma without disturbances of pelvic organs and independent movement;
- consequences of inflammatory diseases (polyneuritis, myelitis, poliomyelitis, arachnoiditis, encephalitis, encephalomyelitis, meningitis of infectious and traumatic genesis during recovery and residual periods (if patient is able to move independently);
- consequences of traumas (in 3-4 months) and infections (6 months later): neuritis, polyneuritis, polyradiculoneuritis, plexites, neuralgia, radiculitis, osteochondrosis, functional disorders of the nervous system.
Contra-indications:
- general contra-indications for resort treatment;
- hereditary-degenerative and demyelinating diseases of nervous system;
- consequences of extraction of intracerebral and intramedullary tumors;
- nervous system diseases which are accompanied by pronounced vascular disorders such as heat regulation disorder, tachycardia and syncopal disorder;
- lack of brain and skull development;
- poliomyelitis accompanied by severe deformation and contractures;
- consequences of polyradiculoneuritis with respiratory and cardio-vascular disorders;
- tuberculosis of the spinal cord with a fistula;
- cachexia, ataxia, and optic atrophy;
- epilepsy.

- barotherapy (by indications);

Musculoskeletal system diseases:
- diseases in remission stage if a patient can serve himself: inflammatory arthropathy (seropositive rheumatoid arthritis with minimal and average process activity), psoriatic and youthful arthritis;
- podagra;
- polyarthrosis, gonarthrosis and other arthritis;
- acquired deformation of fingers and toes;
- scoliosis and spinal osteochondrosis;
- ankylosing spondylitis;
- spondylosis or Bechterew disease if the process activity is lower II stage, without Viscera;
- lesion of the intervertebral discs of the cervical and other parts of spine;
- consequences of soft tissues diseases and defeat of synovial membranes and tendons;
- osteopathy, chondropathy and osteomyelitis.
3. Diseases of male and female genitals:
- inflammatory diseases of male genitals;
- chronic prostatitis;
- inflammatory diseases of female reproductive system;
- ovarian dysfunction;
- disruption of the menstrual cycle;
- infantilism;
- uterus hypoplasia;
- male and female infertility.
4. Specialized rehabilitation department of pregnant women with extragenital pathology:
- normal course of pregnancy in terms of 12-35 weeks;
- anemia of pregnant women (asiderotic anemia without coexistent diseases);
- ordinary course of pregnancy;
- neuro-circulatory dystonia;
- inactive phase of rheumatism;
- compensated rheumatic and congenital heart disease;
- chronic non-specific lungs diseases in stable remission stage;
- hypertension of І stage;
- obesity;
- pancreatic diabetes (mild);
- kidneys diseases.
2. Nervous system diseases:
- peripheral nervous system diases;
- vegetative-vascular dystonia;

Contra-indications:
- general contra-indications for health resort treatment;
- scleroderma with a high degree of activity;
- malignancies.
5. Female genital organs diseases:
- ovarian dysfunction;
- infantilism;
- uterus hypoplasia;
- disturbance of menstrual function;
- chronic salpingitis and oophoritis.
Emergency medical and dental care is available to all the patients of Slavyansk resort. All the treatmet procedures and diagnostic examinations are prescribed by the doctor according to the main disease and health state of the patient.
