The huge canvas (the total area is 310 square meters), named “One in the multitude”, was represented on the Singing Field in the framework of the Day of Palestinian Culture in Ukraine. Palestinian Jamal Badvan, who has been living in Ukraine for 20 years, is the author of the painting.
A pigeon and three churches are depicted in the center of the painting: a mosque, a Christian cathedral and a synagogue. There are biblical stories at the bottom and on the sides of the picture, “Correspondent” inform.
According to the author of the picture, the idea of parity of all religions and nationalities lies in its base: “It says that there is only one nation on the Earth – human, one religion – love and one God for everyone”.The record size of the canvas 20/15 meters has been registered by representatives of the Book of Records of Ukraine. It has been mentioned that after the Ukrainian presentation the painter plans to demonstrate his picture in other countries of the world.
