The International Museum of Ukrainian embroidery was opened to wide public in Darnytsky district in the capital of Ukraine. This museum is the unique one. Craftswoman’s name is Tatyana Protcheva. Now her works are well-known not only in Ukraine but also all over the world. And vice versa: folk handiwork masterpieces from all over the world have been provided with a honorable place in the creative domain of Tatyana Protcheva.
В музее широко представлена палитра произведений Протчевой, выполненных преимущественно на старинном домотканом материале, но и современные технологические возможности были также использованы в вышивках. Музей интерактивный. Здесь можно не только примерить на себе вышиванки мастерицы, но и самому попробовать вышивать на мастер-классе Татьяны Протчевой.
You can find a lot of masterpieces created by Protcheva in the museum collection. Her embroidery is made predominantly on the old homespun material. Modern technological capabilities are used in embroidery too. This is an interactive museum. You can try the embroidered masterpieces on. You can learn how to embroider during the master-class of Tatyana Protcheva too.
